Silver Fox Avant

Fox Avant is a streamlined side console boat that carries its load economically and safely, in a well-balanced way. The durable aluminum hull has been manufactured utilizing the unique Silver framework; the hull sides are formed by sealed, triangular box-like aluminum frames, which are densely filled with non-absorbent polyurethane foam. The hull’s specific reinforcing beams and transverse profiles, together with the hull side frames, make Fox Avant torsionally rigid, more silent due to less hull-borne structural noise, and most importantly extremely safe. Thanks to the polyurethane filling in the hull sides the Fox Avant is practically unsinkable. The high freeboard efficiently prevents sea sprays from entering the boat and simultaneously makes it safe to move around in the boat.

Thanks to an all-new hull design, the interior of the Fox Avant is significantly more spacious than its predecessor model, even though the external measurements have remained basically the same. In relation to its relatively compact size, the boat still has more than plenty of open deck space in the bow and a wide side walkway on the port side. The open bow deck offers endless possibilities and can be utilized e.g. for transporting big loads and recreational fishing, at the same time as the open bow makes it effortless to embark and move around the boat.

Fox Avant has been equipped with a wide side console, which has been placed on the starboard side, leaving a walkway on the port side of the boat. The wheel is positioned on the left side of the console, which means the driver sits in the best possible spot concerning both visibility and handling – this also means that the Avant is extremely well-balanced even if you operate the boat alone. The driver does not have a separate seat, meaning that the boat is steered sitting on the stern bench together with the rest of the passengers. We have, however, paid special attention to the ergonomics and a comfortable driving position, making sure that boating is convenient for all. The steering console has been equipped with storage compartments for personal belongings, and the wide windscreen gives proper protection from sea sprays and wind. On the instrument panel we have a standardly-fitted 9-inch Raymarine Axiom+ chartplotter/echo sounder, helping you to navigate and conveying important data from the outboard motor to the driver. The display has been installed so that it is sensibly in the driver’s field of vision, but without masking visibility.

The stern bench construction is all-new for the Fox Avant and BR models. The full-width bench is possible to open fully, including back rest and arm rests, revealing a vast storage space underneath. Inside the bench is also a designated space to store the stern canopy when not in use. The stern bench has been designed so that both the driver and passengers sit comfortably when moving through the water. Storage space can in addition to the stern bench be found also inside the steering console, the bench in front of the console as well as in the very front of the boat.

Thanks to the AluFibre ^TM construction (aluminum hull + fiberglass interior) the Fox Avant is durable, stylish and versatile, as well as easy to clean and maintain. Due to the manufacturing technique and the timeless look, it maintains its value longer than many other comparative boats. Fox Avant is suited for various different uses – not only is it the perfect companion for family outings and leisurely rides along the shoreline, but it also functions extremely well as a recreational fisherman’s friend thanks to the spacious open bow.
